Let me introduce myself. I am Monika Gordon, 61 years old and live in rural Nebraska with my husband who lost part of his right leg due to smoking, drinking and what have you. Luckily, he was just about ready to retire when it happened. I grew up in rural Switzerland where my mother and sister still live. In 1967 my GI husband and I moved to Colorado after we got married in my homeland. We raised four children and are the lucky and sometimes stressed out grandparents of 11 grandchildren.
Every once in a great while, I substitute teach during the schoolyear but most of my time is spent at home knitting blankets for the Newborn at the Scottsbluff hospital. Reading and travel are my next favorite pastimes. One of the main reasons for starting this website contestsandsweepstakes is my love for travel. Unfortunately, the money to indulge in it is missing and I am hoping to get some good contestsandsweepstakes suggestions to get a chance to win trips; anywhere is fine but a trip to Las Vegas would really put me in seventh heaven.
